Repetition is the key to skill building and behavior modification/enhancement
As a result of those beliefs, all of the following Learning Methods are used during the development process:
REPETITION- Research tells us 62% of the acceptance and retention of all ideas comes only after presentation for the sixth time. For this reason, part of the Process will provide the use of CD’s, plus a text series, enabling participants to conveniently make use of the power of SPACED REPETITION.
ACTION SESSIONS – In house action/accountability sessions will be held weekly for 6 to 8 consecutive weeks, with each session lasting for 2 to 4 hours. These custom – designed sessions put practical application behind the material covered every week, and, through the use of spaced repetition, provide the reinforcement for behavior change and personal growth and goal achievement
PRACTICAL APPLICATION – Following the accountability sessions, the participants put to use and test the concepts and goals that were discussed and established during the session, and are required to report at the next weekly Action Session the results of their individual and group efforts
BUILT IN MOTIVATION – Since one of the key elements of the Development Process involves the integration of personal goals (24 hour clock) with the organizational (or Career) goals (8 Hour clock), the participants will want to learn from the Process, because they will receive direct personal benefits through the realization of their own personal goals.
FOLLOWUP and EVALUATION – extensive pre and post Process evaluations are conducted. Besides traditional testing, followup evaluation meetings are available, at no additional charge, one month, three months, and six months after the formal sessions have ended. The purpose of these meetings is to inspect progress toward goals, and deal with obstacles which may have arisen following the action session.
Materials
The materials are of the highest quality, using both printed and CD media to assist in providing a learning environment designed to create positive growth and behavior change and reinforcement to participants. The materials are packaged so they become the participants long term resource for personal and professional development. Customization of the materials is available to more closely identify it with the sponsoring organization.
